United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women's organization is made up of circles which meet monthly for fellowship, Bible study, book studies, and draft projects either to make money for missions or make items for the ministries they serve. We have six circles: Anna, Esther, Eve, Naomi, Rachel, and Ruth, as well as a craft group for missions called Busy Hands. Each circle meets once a month either in homes or at the church.
The UMW meets together several times a year for our Prayer and Self Denial program, a Christmas program, and others. We also meet to work together at the rummage sales which help fund the missions that we serve. Some of our missions include the Berea Children's Home, Transitional Housing, HeadStart, Metro Health, Rebecca Williams, Red Bird Mission, Flat Rock, Blanket and Tools, USO Cookies, Women and Children in Crisis, Burial Fund, and the City Mission.
